Where are you from?
I was born and raised in the small city of Omaha, Nebraska.
Where did you go to school, and did you play any sports?
I went to high school at Omaha Central High (Go Eagles). I also attended Metro Community College in Omaha before moving to Atlanta,GA. I have always been athletic but I was only really interested in weight/strength training in High School. This is what inspired me to complete my NASM certification.
How long have you been with TFR?
I have been with TFR for about 3 months.
What’s your favorite class to train?
My favorite class to train is Boot Camp. I also enjoy one on one training.
What’s your funniest client story?
My funniest gym story….I was demonstrating how to use a stability ball for one of my PT clients. Welllll.. lets just say things went south from there. I fell off of the stability ball backwards…(oops). Completely embarrassed, I just laid there and hoped that my client and other gym members didn’t notice.
What’s an example of a healthy, lunch and dinner?
Lunch: Baked or grilled chicken breast seasoned with FlavorGod, fresh cilantro and lemon juice with a sweet potato and any green vegetable (I like them all!) Dinner: Spinach salad with tomato, cucumber, radishes, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, hard boiled egg whites, and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
What motivates you?
Quite frankly, I am motivated by the determination of others. When I have a client who is willing to do whatever it takes and truly commits to a life style change, this serves as proof, that I can also make the necessary sacrifices to be the best me that I can be!
