Captain Robinson – Thank you for your service to our country. Be safe in Kuwait and we pray for your safe return!

Captain Scott RobinsonMy name is Scott Robinson and I was born in Upstate NY but raised since the age of two in Stone Mountain, GA. I have one sibling, an older brother who is a Major in the US Army. I received my BA in Information Systems from Albany State University and a MS in Information Technology from University Maryland. I’m a Captain in the Army Reserves and a serial entrepreneur, owning two companies, Cyber Defenders, LLC and S J & A Logistics, LLC. Cyber Defenders is a Cyber Security Consulting Firm and S J & A Logistics is a nationwide trucking company.

As a Captain in the US Army, I serve as a telecommunications project manager in the 335th Signal Command.

What’s your workout routine, or what classes do you take?
I’m a CrossFit fanatic, taking a class 6x a week. I have already signed up for the open!

What goals have you accomplished in the past year?
My 2015 goal was to improve my gymnastic skills in CrossFit. I improved on my muscle ups and increased my PRs in Olympic lifting.

What’s your favorite cheat meal?
Hot Wings & Fries with blue cheese. Specifically, the grilled Guinness BBQ wings from Tilted Kilt.

What’s your favorite exercise or class?
My favorite exercises tend to be those that are explosive movements because they push my body to the max. My absolute favorite are snatches.

What do you enjoy the most about TFR?
The one thing I enjoy about TFR CrossFit is that it feels like an extension of my family.

Favorite quote or saying from a TFR Coach?
I don’t have a favorite quote, but I like that the coaches are very encouraging and push you to exceed your goals.
